B. Hamilton first registered on the SIMGE scale when the Oakland outfit’s debut LP Everything I Own Is Broken landed at No. 26 on our Top Releases Of 2012 List.  The outfit’s prowess for producing swells of speaker shattering power left us wanting more  and thankfully the group has returned with a brand new single titled “As Stupid As The Sun”, which fronts a record of the same name coming later this Spring.

Though B. Hamilton recalled fellow West Coast Indie-Rock monsters Young The Giant, selections like “Me And Margaret Counting Countdowns” suggested a more crude and jagged underbelly this band had yet to reveal…until now.  “As Stupid As The Sun” is a bluesy jam dressed in a coat of distortion complete with potent doses of six string shoegaze accompaniment and an alluring quiet/loud aesthetic.

Stream the single below and melt away with the musical heat wave that is B. Hamilton.
