There are plenty of critiques and statements I can make on this forum about day to day life and the socio-economic climate that currently exists in the United States…but today I’d like to address a true issue. One that, if not acknowledged, will continue to crumble the foundation this great nation was upon.

With that ominous notion in mind, I’d like to address the severe lack of pogoing that is absent from our many rock clubs, basements, and dance halls.

Musician like the Leeds, England based Forever Cult seem to pen their tunes specifically to result in a mass pogo, and evidence of that claim comes in the form of this outfit’s latest offering “Tunnel Vision”.

Massive shout along verses…unifying gang choruses for days…and frantically churning guitar riffs beggin to be bounced too. Forever Cult has produced the perfect pop-punk anthem, and I have a sneaking suspicion that even those the most turbulent of pits would merely thrash and flail, but nor be moved to pogo. And that’s truly sad.

Thus, we at SIMGE leave you to stream Forever Cult’s “Tunnel Vision” below, and implore you to scoop it up on Nov. 27th, when the track drops on 7-inch vinyl via Too Pure Singles Club (pre-order it here).
