Last night, NJ rockers The Battery Electric played a show at the wonderful Don Pedro’s in Brooklyn. Presumably while enjoying one of the venue’s tasty burritos, guitarist Brent Bergholm had his gear stolen.

Battery Electric

A lot of feelings of helplessness crop up in these kinds of situation, and I consider Brent to be a great friend and supporter of the arts in the NJ scene. I think anybody who knows him would agree.

Helplessness be damned. Starting today and up til the close of business next Sunday, all further purchases of the pay-what-you-want NJ 24 Hour Songwriting Challenge will go directly towards replacing these stolen items.

It’s impossible to replace the sentimental value lost in these items, but at the very least we can all help to get Brent back to melting faces soon. You can get buy the whole comp here, or even just individually snag The Battery Electric’s contribution for as little as a dollar. EVERYBODY WINS!

Such is the season to give thanks, so lets show it by helping out a friend in need. We’ve got one week people. By your copy of the comp here, and please share this with your friends/on your socials.
