I hit Sunnyvale on Saturday night for Tetchy, Catty, Plaid Dracula, and Nice Knife. Of course, the L train not-a-shutdown is in full effect these days, so getting there took a little planning. Thus far I had been successful in keeping up my usual punctuality, but my luck ran out on Saturday and I spent most of Tetchy’s set sitting somewhere under the East River. Thanks, MTA.
L train nonsense aside, it was still a great night. I had heard a lot of good things about Nice Knife, and they did not disappoint. Plaid Dracula ripped as always, and even included a new song or two. And it was rad to see how far Catty’s come since their first set at a band lottery event back in January.
