Cloakroom Signs With Run For Cover Records, Shares New Track “Mind Funeral”

Formerly of the now defunct punk-rockers Grown Ups, Doyle Martin, along with drummer Brian Busch and fellow Region, Indiana native Robert Merkof, has stepped forward with a new project known as Cloakroom. After striking a deal with Run For Cover Records, Cloakroom is wasting no time in producing output.

Marking a definite departure from each of Cloakroom’s previous endeavors, first taste “Mind Funeral” drips with delicious, head-rattling distortion calling to mind some of the best grunge-sludge rock this side of Kylesa or Isis. A landscape is built, developed, and explored with jagged guitar chords, reminiscent of Father John Misty, as Cloakroom establish their mid-western, stoner-metal style.

Stream “Mind Funeral” below and stay tuned for more as we get it from this exciting new heavy rock trio.
