Salt Cathedral, Jack and Eliza, Novelty Daughter & Tons More Closed Out CMJ 2014

Hi, this is the ghost of Mike Mehalick relaying his post-humous CMJ experience. Although he made it through the weekend, he was DOA sometime around 8pm on Saturday.

He made it to Black Bear Bar for Indie Shuffle’s showcase featuring solo electronic artists Bollywood Life, Crystal Ghost, and Novelty Daughter.

Miraculously, he then mustered the strength to head to Rockwood Music Hall in the afternoon on Saturday taking in the great sounds of The Modern Electric, Stereo Off, Late Guest At The Party, and Shanaz Dorsett.

The true dagger came at The Wild Honey Pie’s party at Brooklyn Night Bazaar where Salt Cathedral and Jack and Eliza gently rocked Mike into a musical coma forever.

Check out live snippets of all the aforementioned bands, and RIP Mike Mehalick. CMJ did him dirty, yet again.
