After rocking The Palladium to celebrate the premiere of the Sound City documentary, Dave Grohl will bring his Players to the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York for one night only on February 13th.
According to Rolling Stone:
“The lineup includes Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Rick Springfield, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine, Grohl’s Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic, Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel and Pat Smear. Tickets will go on sale February 5th at 4 p.m. EST on Ticketmaster.”
That gives you exactly three days to scrounge up the $100 plus general admission ticket cost, should you be lucky enough to score one. Given the location of this once-in-a-lifetime gathering of talent, you never know who may pop in for a song or two. The Sound City documentary, which was directed by Grohl and celebrates the history of the legendary studio, will be playing at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the ShowRoom on Cookman Ave. in Asbury Park.
