Keansburg, NJ Blunt-Rap auteur, Dave Roberts, has grown the name of his newly formed record label, Jerzy Zoo Ent., and his brand of subdued, herbal-influenced rhymes over the past few months with a series of stellar performances along the Jersey Shore, most notably within Asbury’s most lauded late night haunt, The Stone Pony, on February 4th during a great race for The Bamboozle (May 18th-20th) dubbed The Break Contest.

On Saturday, (March 17th), Roberts will return to The Pony for the semi-final round of this contest and a chance to move one step closer to sharing a bill with the likes of Foo Fighters, Blink-182, Incubus, Skrillex, and more.

And to preface the performance Roberts has released a new freestyle joint in which the MC name drops Bob Marley, Tupac, those Two Girls, One Cup freaks over Jay-Z’s “I’m Feelin’ It.”  Grab it below and check out Roberts, alongside the adolescent six-string slinger Little Jimmy, on Saturday.  Doors are at noon with $15 cover charge to be paid upon admission.
