Apparently, back on May 3rd, Milltown, NJ’s own film director and editorial mastermind, Bobby Bates, released a short film about the Asbury-based soundscape construction screw and Ambient-Rock collective Chemtrail with a soundtrack consisting of “Honorable Mention,” a cut from the outfit’s 2011 full-length release Youth Obsessed Death Culture.
Much in the style of Chemtrail, a band that specializes in lyrical content-lacking instrumental compositions of captivating proportions, this Bates production is also speechless and features shots of the old Asbury Lanes, among other Boardwalk landmarks…scope it out below:
