Plaid Dracula

In need of a new glam-punk, power-chord-led banger to let loose to? Brooklyn-based rockers Plaid Dracula have just what you’re looking for.

Comprised of Sam Gelernter (guitar), Ethan Schneider (drums), and Rachel Adler (bass), the band is readying to release a new EP, Plaid Dracula, with Speak Into My Good Eye premiering its latest single, “Florida,” today. The track kicks up a wonderful, buzzsaw-guitar swirl that never lets up and, not unlike Thor’s hammer, picks up more and more thunderous energy as it goes.

“This single is about that good old familiar feeling of isolation in a crowd, centered on the worst state in the U.S. Despite the downer subject matter, we had a ton of fun recording these songs, and we’re crazy excited to finally get to share them with people!”

Stream Plaid Dracula’s “Florida” below, pre-order Plaid Sabbath here and be sure to catch the band at their EP release show at Hank’s Saloon on October 4th.
