There’s a bristling, brilliant energy at the heart of trio Powersnap’s sound, and I’m pleased as punch to be slingin’ their latest to you today. Teaming with the venerable folks at King Pizza Records, the band is now sharing the four-track Delatency EP in full.

Bookended by singles “Chemistry” and “Pink Diamonds,” Powersnap bring a blend of garage-rock and punk infused with a flair all their own. “Bravery” slows things down a bit to a bleary-eyed, country-twang march while “Miscellaneous” holds true to its name showcasing the breadth of the group’s talents, as every good EP show do.

Powersnap shares:

“We’ve been working on this EP for the past 2.5 years with the great help of Israeli genius music-man Shay Roth, since before Romi and Nogi moved from Israel to Brooklyn. Romi has been dreaming of releasing an album in the US since she was 12 years old, and today we’re making that dream come true. With the help of the great King Pizza Records, we get to release this piece of painfully twisted thoughts, and unravel them for your ears with what we like to call- Rock Music.”

Stream Powersnap’s Delatency EP below, pre-order it here and catch them at their release show on June 30th at The Gutter.
