Side Saddle

It’s been a touch under two years since we first introduced you to NYC indie-rockers Side Saddle. Now, the band is set to return with their fourth overall release, Stunner. Speak Into My Good Eye is happy to host the exclusive premiere of the album’s latest single, “Still,” today.

From the opening strum, you immediately get the sense that Side Saddle are going for something bigger on “Still.” The band takes their knack for crafting powerful harmonies and ups the ante from their usual indie-folk to anthemic rock levels. “Still” is Side Saddle’s latest and greatest coming out party, and perhaps one that signals a new breakthrough.

Singer/guitarist Ian McGuinness shares:

“‘Still’ is probably the most positive song off of Stunner. It’s about longing for and holding onto a perfect moment. In the song, ‘Still’ is happiness, when it all slows down and the world around you gets quiet. It’s that moment where you can reflect on the positive things that led you to where you are and simultaneously be present in the moment.”

Stream Side Saddle’s “Still” (say that five times fast) below and look for Stunner out October 28th via Cedar Lounge Records.
