Where does the time go? Seems like only yesterday we were hailing NJ rockers The Clydes’ Generator EP, but apparently that was nearly a year and a half ago.

The band has kept busy since then, including participating in our 24 Hour Songwriting Challenge. Stoking the flames of creativity, The Clydes are back with their first full length, 13 track endeavor.

Hiding From The Summer is set for release on May 22nd and Speak Into My Good Eye is happy to host the exclusive premiere of its first single, “Savvy Row”. You can stream it and peep the apocalyptic Atlantic City artwork below.

On the track, The Clydes display their knack for crafting some great workingman’s rock with undeniably catchy hooks, and a dialed in narrative flow akin to the poet Springsteen himself.

Check out “Savvy Row” and pencil May 22nd on your calendar to head out to the Rail House in Rahway where The Clydes will celebrate the release of Hiding From The Summer with The Paper Jets, Twins, and The Hostage Crisis.
