Yawn Mower

When Mike Chick (guitar, vox) and Biff Swenson (drums, vox) come together as Yawn Mower, some real fuzz-pop magic happens. Since forming in 2015, the band has become a fixture in the various NJ scenes with their infectious brand of head boppin’, toe tappin’, all around good time tuneage.

Yawn Mower is now gearing up to release their second EP of original material, What’s All This New Piss?, and Speak Into My Good Eye is happy to host the exclusive premiere of its latest single, “Paddle Out,” today. “Paddle Out” kicks out from the jump with Chick winding a heavy, angular guitar line leading to a build wherein he harmonizes with Swenson and lets the tension explode like a tube of Mentos dropped into a bottle of soda. Throw in some horns and hand claps and you’ve got yourself an inventive slice of fuzz-pop nirvana.

Stream Yawn Mower’s “Paddle Out” below and be sure to catch them at The Saint on Saturday, March 11th.
