After their inaugural run last year the Great GoogaMooga, a food, music, and drink festival organized by the same people behind Bonnaroo, will again descend upon the scenic grounds of Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY. GoogaMooga will host three packed days with some great bands from May 17th-19th including a kick off concert on day one with a flamboyant bill featuring Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Flaming Lips, and The Darkness.
Other acts set for GoogaMooga include Matt & Kim, Father John Misty, De La Soul, Sharon Van Etten, Jovanotti, Lee Fields & the Expressions, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Cults, the Soul Rebels, Delicate Steve, Red Baraat, Pearl and the Beard, Jonathan Batiste, Banda De Los Muertos, Lady Rizo, M.A.K.U. Sound System, the Hot Sardines, and Marcelle Davies Lashley.
Tickets go on sale March 28th with free, randomly chosen general admission registration running from April 1st to the 3rd. Yeah Yeah Yeahs also revealed the video for their latest single “Sacrilege” today, which is available for streaming below.
