Horror Director/Composer John Carpenter Drops New Single “Vortex”…Prepping Lost Themes LP

Horror film auteur and composer John Carpenter – who is responsible for disrupting our sleep patterns with such films as Halloween, The Thing, Escape From New York - is prepping a debut collection of music titled Lost Themes.

The record, which is lated for a February 3rd unveiling on Sacred Bones Records, has been fronted by a lead single of sorts titled “Vortex”, and you can stream the ominous instrumental piece below. However, we also suggest listening to this darkly toned composition soundtracking several famous scenes from various John Carpenter films here.
