I am a bit late on the uptake for the November 23rd edition of Happy Mondays. Too much food, too much drink, too much family. The holidays are in full swing indeed and the music keeps on going.
The night kicked off with veteran performer Tony Tedesco doing an acoustic set and was then followed by two of the newer groups on the circuit.
Like-Minded is in search of a bass player and were without one for their set, yet they did a great job as a three piece of two guitars and drums. Sweet vocals, a little blues with a little grunge mixed in. They will be releasing some new tunes in the beginning of January. Stayed tuned for that and a single in December.
Denizens of Soil closed out the night. Not exactly new to the scene individually as they have played prior to this year with other acts, but as a group, since the spring I believe. Once their lineup is set the potential for these guys will be unlimited.
