Justin Dean Thomas

For the unfamiliar, Justin Dean Thomas is a singer/songwriter, actor, singer and lead guitarist of The Bowery Riots, published poet and DJ. His wide range of talents have combined with a tireless work ethic that is purely New York, learning quickly how to play to any and every type of room, club, or theater.

Justin’s band, The Bowery Riots have made strides in the Big Apple scenes of late playing modern takes on gritty rock predicated on a wide array of influences. The Bowery Riots recorded their recent EP with Andy Rourke Of The Smiths and have played varied events like The CMJ Festival and Vanity Fair/StyleLikeU book launch and landed a slot opening for Thurston Moore.

As a soloist, Thomas indulges his folkier side as he coolly picks his atmospheric acoustic and acts as a master Raconteur, swimming in the same descriptive waters as The Tallest Man On Earth.

Get a better idea of Justin Dean Thomas’ sound in the form of single “You’ve Had Your Fun” and be sure to check him out when he hits The Bowery Electric tonight (3/20) for an intimate gig.
