Kendrick Lamar

As we were all made aware last year in his auto-biographical debut, breakthrough MC Kendrick Lamar has some pretty pertinent life advice to hand down despite his relative youth. So naturally the rising star would move on to doling out his opinions on retirement and 401k’s like every young rapper always does. Right?

Well that’s exactly what happened in The Lonely Island’s grand return to “Saturday Night Live” which also features guest spots from Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and general awesome guy Danny McBride doing what he does best (pretending to do drugs on camera). In “YOLO” the heralded, parodic hip hop trio takes that aforementioned acronym and extrapolates it to its most literal and sinister degree until burying all your cash in the backyard like a Beagle sounds like a sensible option.

Watch Kendrick Lamar drop some fiscal responsibility knowledge with The Lonely Island in “YOLO” below. And remember to diversify y’all bonds with Wu Tang Financial.

Kendrick Lamar will play the 2013 Governors Ball this June in New York.
