Listen: Joseph Sant Shares The Dreamy “Nor’easter”

Joseph Sant

From the mountains of the Pacific Northwest to the constantly evolving landscape of Brooklyn, NY, songwriter Joseph Sant juxtaposes the inherent natures of his childhood and adopted homes. The recording process for his debut EP, Sea White Salt, was physical proof positive after a couple of marathon sessions at Four Foot Studios in South Williamsburg were almost immediately followed by an eviction notice for the studio.

The results of those sessions, however, are born of a wonderfully natural feeling with layers of hazy textures scoring Sant’s dreamy vocals. Single “Nor’easter’ connects instantly with inventive, haunting guitar work calling out from a distant shore line with rhythymic swells further serving to entrance.

Stream Joseph Sant’s “Nor’easter” below and look for Sea White Salt out January 14th.
