When last we caught up with Jersey City-based trio Overlake. they were, as it turns out, smack dab in the middle of LPs. Now, the band’s sophomore effort, Fall, is on its way with two singles, “Winter Is Why” and “Gardener’s Bell,” teasing the 8-song release.

The former gives us Overlake operating at peak speeds with choppy guitar-work and tight rhythms burning down a dream-pop highway whereas the latter offers whirring, towering shoegaze to get yourself lost in.

Check out Overlake’s “Winter Is Why” and “Gardener’s Bell” below and pre-order Fall out May 12th via Bar/None Records.
