Listen: PUJOL Unveils Title Track To Forthcoming Kisses EP…Available On Record Store Day

PujolThe Black Friday edition of Record Store Day is coming quick, as is the unveiling of Nashville Trash-Pop auteur PUJOL’s forthcoming EP Kisses, which the songsmith is providing bits and pieces of in advance, previously dropping the nightmarish video for the lead single “Sleepy Doni”, before resurfacing on Friday, Oct. 23rd with record’s title track.

PUJOL’s jagged, psychedelia-laced fret manipulations once again house his infectious vocal hooks and penchant for for biting social commentary presented in enigmatic lyrical poetry…or maybe its just genuine to comprehend on the first or fifth play through.

“It is being so honest because it assumes its content is essentially meaningless,” said PUJOL of the track to Consequence of Sound. “Maybe no one will remember the words anyway. It can scream all it wants in Hell.”

“Regardless, its musical and aesthetic attitude will activate certain emotional responses in a brain, and the song will be reaccessed as a specific emotional trigger. If it’s lucky.”

Aside from being included upon the eight-track Kisses EP, “Kisses” will be dropped as a stand-alone 7-inch single limited to 500 copies on the same day via the Knife Tapes imprint and can be pre-ordered here.

Stream “Kisses” below and stay tuned for more on PUJOL.
