Sun Voyager

We’ve been head banging to the tasty jams of Sun Voyager for a bit now, and have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of their debut full-length. Clouds are gathering, fissures are cracking Brooklyn pavement and thundering hordes approach.

Lots of fun hyperbole there, but for real, Sun Voyager’s self-titled LP is now officially on its way with opener “Trip” ratcheting up the fuzz, sludge and doom the trio has been oh so perfectly slinging since their inception. To record the nine-track effort, the band wisely went with gods and The Parlor Mob‘s Paul Ritchie who definitely knows a thing or two about bringing the heavy.

Stream Sun Voyager’s “Trip” below, buy it here, and look for the album out later this Spring.

Sun Voyager live dates:

1/14 – Sunnyvale – King Pizza Records’ Pizzamania
1/30 – Shea Stadium – PopGun Presents Max Pain & The Groovies & Heavy Birds
