Vivacious and fast, Touche Amore has always been known for their raw power and kickass spirit in their songwriting. “Palm Dreams” takes these characteristics and amps them up even more so.

While this song is bound to turn listeners into mosh pit champions, the lyrical content carries a heavy burden. The band’s vocalist Jeremy Bolm tragically lost his mother to cancer in October 2014, and Touche Amore’s latest record, Stage Four, recounts the details and emotions that came with the loss.

“Palm Dreams” is desperate and oddly soothing, with harmonies that croon and pine for better days. The verses are in your face and the chorus is more on the softer side. While the hard-hitting spirit of Touche Amore is clearly still there, this song is much more fluid and strong – the band continuously matches heart with chords.

The band will release Stage Four via Epitaph Records on September 16th. Check out “Palm Dreams” below.
