Used Cassettes

Yeah, but do they fuck with you in Seoul? Such is the fairly unique retort transplanted rockers Used Cassettes can utilize.

The Seoul-based band feature members from as far away as South Africa, Canada, and Detroit, and they have made unprecedented strides in their adopted home. Cracking the Korean rock Top 40, Used Cassettes became the first group comprised of foreigners signed to MagicStrawberry Sound.

The quartet’s new album, Rock n Rills, is out May 6th via that aforementioned label with single “Ghost Stories” serving as the latest example of their universal promise. The hazy garage-rock slow burner casually swaggers towards an incendiary finish as frontman Danny Arens evokes Julian Casablancas in his world-weary delivery.

Stream Used Cassettes’ “Ghost Stories” below and look for more on Rock n Rills soon.
