The annual 4Knots Festival held typically at South Street Seaport is always a hell of a lot of fun. Last year featured a stellar lineup with Dinosaur Jr., Mac Demarco and more stuffing the port to its gills.
Shifting venues to Hudson River Park’s Pier 84, where the RiverRocks series is also held, 2015 4Knots Festival 2015 will also be ticketed as opposed to free ninety nine as in year’s past.
Set to go down on July 11th this year, the festival now announces the first wave of confirmed acts which include Mikal Cronin, Twin Peaks (yay!), Happyness, Meatbodies, and Heaters.

UPDATE: Super Furry Animals and Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks have been confirmed as this year’s headliners marking the former’s first NYC performance in six years.
