The Asbury Park Musical Heritage Foundation is beginning to focus on life after Bruce Springsteen, Southside Johnny, and the west-side Doo-wop community that preceded them with a new monthly music series at the Berkeley Hotel, the first installment of which is slated to take place this evening (Friday, August 2nd).

The free performance, which is scheduled to see the first chords clipped at 9 p.m., will feature such burgeoning boardwalk luminaries as the rustic Thomas Wesley Stern, the alluring Emily Grove, and the ever captivating sometimes collective/sometimes individual/always impressive Moon Motel.

Some of the finest young songwriters Asbury Park has to offer will be together on one stage folks…you don’t want to miss this.
