New Arcade Fire Album To Be Released On October 29th

Hard to believe, but it’s been three years since The Suburbs launched indie-rock luminaries Arcade Fire into the arena stratosphere with indelible narrative anthems about those kids downtown. Plenty has been teased about the forthcoming follow up, including collaboration work with former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy, but nothing entirely formal. That is until now…

Along with the October 29th release date, the accompanying photo of what looks like a burning EPCOT center and the band in varying hues now serves as the kick start to Arcade Fire album cycle number four. This, along with reports from a secret show last December, is all we really have to go on until that first single sneaks its way out into the world. Fingers crossed it’s sooner rather than later.
