New Song: Rancid – “Fuck You”

Chris Rotolo November 16, 2012 News No Comments

20 years and counting since Rancid’s first recording, the outfit of stud-sporting 40-somethings can still spin a prickly yarn of blood-drenched and booze-soaked teenage angst, as Tim Armstrong’s glass-gurlging vocals and Lars Frederikson’s jagged German-brogue declare in harmonious refrain “We say what we want/We do what we want/We live how we want/So everyone sing it with us! FUCK YOU.”

This anthemic song of rebellion for basement dwellers and pit bosses alike can be found on the forthcoming Pirate Press Records release Oi! This Is Street Punk Vol. 2, which is slated to drop on December 12th.  Stream and pre-order the collection, which features cuts from such acts as Street Dogs, Flatfoot 56, Razorblade, Booze & Glory, and more, here.
