Ever wanted to see Patrick Stump get his hand chopped off? Now you can in Fall Out Boy’s video for the outfit’s brand new single “The Phoenix”.
Sure there’s a joke in there somewhere about the last name Stump coinciding with the one the frontman gained at the cleaver of some sadistic super model, but why draw the focus away from the message being submitted. Though Fall Out Boy officially ended its hiatus in February tapping 2 Chainz for “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark”, that attempt at Pump Up-Pop was merely entrance music for Stump and company to waltz back into the public arena, while “Phoenix” is the Skate And Surf headliner’s official rise from the ashes .
