Indie-folk band Night Flight announced their debut album, self-titled Night Flight is going to be released in December 2018. The album is to feature songs from their previous EPs, Wanderlust and Carousel, as well as two previously unheard songs.
“To release our debut record and mirror the musicians we grew up with is beyond a dream, and most excitingly, only the beginning,” said guitarist and vocalist Samuel Holmes. “We love making music, so to us this is just the tip of the iceberg. This album perfectly introduces us, Night Flight, to the world.”
Holmes describes Night Flight as being reflective of their ‘eclectic’ influences. Citing Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley as keys to his initial writing, he also takes inspiration from The Beatles, Neil Young, and The Rolling Stones, in addition to modern artists like Kurt Vile, The War On Drugs and Andy Shauf.
Night Flight’s self-titled album is set for a Dec. 7 via CRC Records.
