Nemo Cancels Tiny Giant Winter Beach Ball Events At Court Tavern & Asbury Lanes

Chris Rotolo February 8, 2013 Asbury Music, News 1 Comment

Today, Nemo claimed the life of an amazing event, The Winter Beach Ball, slated to take place tonight at The Court Tavern and tomorrow at Asbury Lanes as the impending storm forced the NJ/NY-based Tiny Giant Artist Collective to cancel its opening New Brunswick basement show, follow up main event in Asbury Park, and most likely its closing ceremonies at Maxwell’s in Hoboken (stay tuned for updates on that).

This extensive music community, which includes such burgeoning outfits and SIMGE favorites as The Everymen, Those Mockingbirds, Cinema Cinema, Holy City Zoo, The Nico Blues, Paper Streets, Janet LaBelle, Secret Country, Cicada Radio and many more, is planning on rescheduling the festival and transporting its cold weather event to a more climate appropriate date while rebranding it as The Tiny Giant Winter Beach Ball Summer Kickoff (working title).

More information will be coming soon in terms of venues, lineups, dates, and times but for now, while your trapped in your homes underneath mounds of snow, stream and download a special edition 20-track Winter Beach Ball compilation featuring many artists scheduled to perform below:

NOTE: As of now The Tiny Giant Winter Beach Ball festivities set to take place on Sunday at Maxwell’s in Hoboken and The Lamp Post in Jersey City are still on.
