Back in 2009 Marissa Paternoster took some time out from her New Brunswick-based Punk-Rock juggernaut, Screaming Females, to record some solo compositions under her lesser known moniker Noun.

Since then, with the assistance of various friends, including the one mainstay Miranda Taylor (Hunchback, Full Of Fancy, Black Wine) on drums, the rotating cast of characters has performed a handful of shows and recently, to preface the outfit’s next scheduled date (March 24th at the Cake Shop in New York City w/ Jeff Schroek [The Ergs, Black Wine] on guitar) released its entire catalogue for streaming here.

The March 24th show comes on the back of the outfit’s Screaming On Planet Titus Tour with Titus Andronicus and Diarrhea Planet, which opened up at The Stone Pony and March 4th.  Photos, videos, and a review of that performance can be found here.

It’s unknown if this Noun show will be the first of multiple however, there is a two week layoff between The Cake Shop and Screaming Females national tour which kicks off on April 5th at Maxwell’s in Hoboken.
