On Sunday night, Parrot Dream celebrated the release of their new video for “Light Goes (In Mines)” with a benefit show for the Trans Women of Color Collective at The Glove. Mike Petzinger caught their set and shares his shots below.

The band shares, “The song reflects on the struggles within relationships between father and child, and how so often much goes uncommunicated and unresolved. In the video, we see the protagonist moving through and occupying different spaces, both physical and emotional. The cityscape mirrors the protagonist’s state as they experience a range of emotions connected to grief and loss.”
