Thrilled to be sharing “Light Goes (In Mines),” the first single off of Parrot Dream’s excellent new LP, Light Goes. The track opens the album and sets the table for a dreamy, expansive experience you can really lose yourself in.

The band shares: “‘Light Goes (In Mines)’ was written as a reflection on the relationship between a father and child. It speaks of emotions often unexpressed and the desire to communicate stories buried and left untold. In this relationship, there is sometimes a sharp need to question deeply that goes unanswered. Mysteries remain unilluminated. This song is inspired in part by Gonzalo and his father.”

Stream Parrot Dream’s “Light Goes (In Mines)” below and pre-order Light Goes available on standard and special edition “Blood Red Transparent” vinyl here. Parrot Dream will celebrate the LP release with a show at Union Pool on August 24th (tickets).
