Screaming Females

For the uninitiated, NJ hard rockers Screaming Females have always been as much as, possibly even more so, of a live force as they’ve been on record. After ripping up the US on their most recent tour in support of 2012’s excellent Ugly, the powerhouse trio will set out to document their concert hall prowess proper.

Screaming Females will play two shows at Chicago’s The Hideout at the end of January with producing legend Steve Albini in tow to record the appropriately titled Live at The Hideout. The band’s first live record is set for an April 8th release on Don Giovanni Records.

Immediately following their headlining stint, Screaming Females will embark on a tour with The Julie Ruin which is set to bring the band back to Asbury Lanes on April 12th. Check out Screamales’ full run of upcoming dates below.
