The synth-gaze experimentations found on Seaside Caves’ debut self-titled EP has garnered the Asbury Park based outfit some much deserved buzz over the past year (pick it up here), and this outfit’s partnership with The Bouncing Souls’ owned and operated punk haven Chunksaah Records is starting to make more sense.

On Wednesday, Seaside Caves frontman Todd Wacha unveiled a remixed edition of the punk-rock ragetune “18 MPH”, a cut lifted from the catalogue of The Jacks, a decade old number written and recorded in a Garden State basement by his former band.

Stream the newly synth-infused selection and be sure to catch Seaside Caves live on Nov. 13th at the Asbury Park Yacht Club with Overlake and Dead Stars. Also be on the lookout for the group’s forthcoming, yet-to-be-titled, 10-track collection, which does not currently have a release date or a label.
