SIMGE On The Scene: Deaf Rhino Continued Their Residency At The Revamped Maxwell’s

The Residency; a tried and true way for a local act to stretch its wings a little bit while welcoming in like-minded, traveling talent and establishing themselves as tastemakers of sorts. NJ’s Deaf Rhino teamed with the revamped Maxwell’s to do just that as they’re in the middle of a September/October residency at the historic Hoboken hot spot.

Last Wednesday, unfortunately, they had to go it alone as the other band had to drop out, but Deaf Rhino have been in the game long enough to know how to gamely roll with the punches and turn in another great performance at a venue they dominate at this point.

Check out Mike Petzinger’s photos of Deaf Rhino rocking Maxwell’s below and be sure to head out next Wednesday when they’ll be joined by Polar Planet.
