Last Friday, two rising tri-state acts operating in the alt-folk/Americana category, Evening Darling and Lowlight, joined forces to celebrate the former’s record release. It was the most packed I’ve ever seen the main room at The Bowery Electric as Evening Darling commanded the room with a refined set that proved ready for bigger stages, while Lowlight continued on their high following their Terminal 5 debut. Would love to see these two link up again sometime down the line.
Joining me at TBE was the one and only Mike Petzinger who shares his shots of the night’s action below. Stream Evening Darling’s debut, self-titled LP and be sure to catch them this weekend as they’re primed for a Record Store Day double header during the day at HiFi Records and later on at The Quays Pub.
