The northern metropolitan New Jersey music scene is booming once again with a slew of new, exciting performance spaces in Jersey City and the re-birth of the legendary Maxwell’s. Fresh off of the release of their debut LP, Waking Days, Brooklyn indie-rockers Looms, Big Wake, and Terrible Terrible helped to break in the relatively new space with a night of angular, complex music presented by virtuosic talents.

SIMGE consummate pro photographer Mike Petzinger was at Maxwell’s to help capture the atmosphere. Check out shots of Looms, Big Wake, and Terrible Terrible below.
