Kentucky-based Quiet Hollers stopped by The Saint at the beginning of the week during a tour of the northeast. Their set was filled with silky and melodic undertones while maintaining the indie grit and mystery that personifies the modern day south.
This came at a perfect time as I will be headed down to the family homestead in Tennessee next week. Quiet Hollers were smooth and easy listening for me as I set a picture of the rolling farmlands and mountain streams that await my travels. It was the first trip to NJ for Quiet Hollers and they stated they can not wait to come back. Check out their most recent and just released single, Broken Guitar, on Soundcloud.
Opening the evening was Asbury Underground’s own Joe Harvard. A musical story teller utilizing samples and loops to go along with his on point labeled guitar.
