This past Tuesday, the riotous roots-gospel-rockers Stop Light Observations co-headlined Brooklyn Bowl with People’s Blues of Richmond. The Charleston-based group comprised of Will Blackburn (lead vocals), John-Keith “Cubby” Culbreth (piano/guitar/synth), Louis Duffie (lead guitar), and Luke Withers (drums) will continue a brief, local tour in advance of the release of their new LP, Toogoodoo, out later this Spring.

The Schooley Mountain Band opened the big gig, with SIMGE photographer extraordinaire Mike Petzinger on hand to capture all of the action. Check out his shots of SLO, People’s Blues of Richmond and The Schooley Mountain Band and be sure to stream the “Dinosaur Bones,” the first single off of Toogoodoo, below.
