Who says you can’t have a dance-rock party on a Wednesday? Such was the spirit when art-rockers The New Tarot and hard groove purveyors Controller shook The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn.
The former impressed with soaring, off the cliche path harmonies reminiscent of a more anthemic Talking Heads while the latter looked ready for prime time with an up-tempo sound that had bodies moving.
