Last month the Big Apple based Pop-Rock collective Lovelectric prefaced its forthcoming album of titles and release dates unknown by unveiling an acoustic rendition of a new piece of ear candy titled “Rock Bottom” and returns this morning with another glimpse of what’s to come in “Running”.
The new cut showcases a set of huge Doug Rockwell vocal harmonies that have become Lovelectric’s calling card and acts as the soundtrack to the outfit’s latest music video, which splices footage of the band performing inside an ill-lit underground concrete encasement with a narrative display of a young businessman ignored and abused by humanity before stepping to the ledge to contemplate a big fall.
Stream the J.R. Vulpis production below and be sure to check out Lovelectric when they play a real basement, New Brunswick’s storied Court Tavern, tonight (Thursday, January 2nd) as part of the Modern Chemistry/Dreamcatcher (ex. The Dangerous Summer) our kickoff show with Deal Casino and I.O.U. Find more information and RSVP to the event here.
