Bad Case of Big Mouth is an Easycore band from Harrison, New Jersey. I’ve had the chance to see them live twice. First at Starland Ballroom for the Get Real Tour and then at the Radiant in Nutley.
The band members label themselves as “pop punk mixed with hardcore mixed with a slight cool ranch flavor.” I would say it’s basically pop punk mixed with screams and clean vocals.
Bad Case of Big Mouth has two vocalists: a clean and a screamer. It is a surprisingly dynamic combo. I absolutely love it! When you see the band live you should appreciate how incredibly energetic the band members are. They take over the stage and captivate the audience.
The song titles on the latest album, Straight Up Bad Luck, are very unique and intriguing. Some of my favorites are: “Elmer And The Man That Feeds Him”, “I Have Got to Get Me One O’ Deeze”.
The first song I ever heard by Bad Case of Big Mouth was “A Fistfight With Bambi” The title drew me in. This is what I mean by really intriguing titles. The song is about a girl that is playing a guy. A girl player. Ha! The tables have turned!
Bad Case of Big Mouth brings a little bit of everything to the table. They are both heartfelt and funny with lyrics like “When I saw her? for the first time? my heart was ?pounding in my chest” and “That girls a player player?. She gets with everybody. She’ll leave your heart in pieces. And she’ll take all your money”
If you’re tired of the same old music, check out Bad Case of Big Mouth. You won’t regret it!
