SIMGE Stream: Los Angeles Punks Locas Get Primal On Locas Demonstration

Locas

There’s something misleading about pair of distortion addicted punks referring to themselves simply as Eddie and Andy. This sort of Saturday morning comic strip  moniker falsely advertises the type of textbook barbarism and crudely emotional Garage-Rock found on Locas Demonstration, the debut release from the pair’s more aptly titled recording project Locas. The Los Angeles based duo’s inaugural collection is, as first referenced, a corse production, but there’s an undoubtedly primal air about such selections as “Away”, “Set To Go (Parts 1 & 2)”, and “Apology Quota” that makes a deep connection to the shirtless, sweat-drenched, and flailing pit-dweller that resides in the darkest quarters of all of us khaki-clad cubicle slaves.
