Pop-punk band Real Talk released their new EP, Arrivals, on Oct. 26. Frontman Joey Milewski explained the EP’s title track is a tribute to his grandmother, who passed away a little while back.

“Her funeral was on my 22nd birthday,” Milewski said, “the title track is a love song to her.”

Regarding the rest of Arrivals, Milewski says the band put “everything [they] had” into it, writing and recording the tracks, and then rewriting and re-recording those tracks again and again.

“Each chorus, verse, bridge, and intro was written and recorded so deliberately,” he said. “We hope the this translates into our listener’s ears. You’ll find mix of nostalgic and fresh sounds that balance & compliment each other nicely.”

November has Real Talk playing shows in Amityville, NY; Philadelphia; and Hamden, CT. Arrivals is currently available via Anchor Eighty Four Records for streaming on digital platforms, and the title track’s music video is below.
