After cutting their teeth in making the festival rounds and gaining acclaim in the particularly critical jam circuit, fusion instrumental rockers TAUK now offer the fruits of their latest labor and experiences.

Guitarist Matt Jalbert explains, “This band has been through a lot, but we hit a point last year where it just felt like things were coming together the way they were supposed to. We really wanted this new album to be a statement as to what TAUK is all about…Being an instrumental band leaves a lot of our music up to being interpreted in different ways.”

With that we now receive ten track, constantly evolving psychedelic adventure that is Homunculus. Working with Grammy-Winning Producer Robert Carranza (Mars Volta, Jack Johnson), TAUK’s latest endeavor manages to evoke an extrapolated, linear narrative despite the lack of a single spoken lyric. Passionate and precise playing sets up soaring passages with a firm footholds in melody and rhythm underscoring each unique sonic landscape from start to finish.

Take the trip with TAUK and stream Homunculus below.
