Undercover Rabbis

Looking for a throwback, doom riding band that prays at the dark altar of Black Sabbath? Clifton, NJ primarily instrumental trio Undercover Rabbis have got you covered with their latest effort Empires, which could easily serve as the soundtrack to the coming of The Four Horsemen. Vast, distorted atmospheres are built and expanded upon from sparse beginnings as Angsty Lou (Drums), Captain Explosion (Guitar), and EvilJekyll (Bass) power their way through elongated, but never dull, jams. The eleven minutes plus “Ruins” shines as a thorough example of the band’s prowess with an undeniable early King Crimson feel. Stream Empires below and download it via Undercover Rabbis’ Bandcamp.
