World of Rock Records

Summit, NJ indie label World of Rock Records is a labor of love by area musician Joe Kenyon. The label was born out of the World of Rock music lessons HQ with the mission statement simply being to put out records that resonate regardless of genre.

Nowhere is that more apparent then in World of Rock Records’ initial mixtape Music, Volume One. World spanning and genre hopping, the tape features eleven distinct offerings including appearances by NJ natives Tango Machina, Grey Goes Black, and Kenyon’s own Ruined Machines project.

In a statement on its Facebook page the label shared:

“Over the past several months, we’ve gathered eleven bands from all across the globe, some rock, some metal, hell, even some electronic goodness thrown into the mix as well.

These eleven acts have been paying their dues and giving you their fullest all around the world, and each one’s worthy of that precious, privileged access through your ear canal straight into your heart.”

If you’re looking for a diverse, keenly vetted playlist to discover some great emerging artists then look no further. Stream World of Rock Records’ Music, Volume One below and be sure to head here to stay up to date with and support this great NJ indie label.
